I found this week’s topic a little overwhelming and I am still wrapping my head around LEARNINg design models but I did love the tools we learned.
Mentimeter – I love the idea of anonymous polls. And That you can use them not only to gauge understanding but feeling. I love the idea of using it for a morning mood check-in or to gauge how much students enjoyed a lesson.
Mural digital canvas – I really liked the live brainstorming AND THE sharing with multiple groups. There seemed to be a bunch of other features I would need to check out, but I can see this working well with older elementary and middle school students. I also like that it can allow for a degree of anonymity and allows students to build off each other’s ideas.
Learning design models:  Again I need to spend more time with these but upon first inspection, I agree with Michael and I am drawn to constructive alignment. and I believe we should all follow ‘always design for learning.’ The concept of aligning everything to create meaningful learning experiences fits well into what we have learned in all our other courses these past two semesters and the idea of meeting our learners where they are at. intentionally USING technology to improve how our teaching and learning strategies align to how/what we are assessing and evaluating our students for makes complete sense.
