SO for my kindergarten practicum, I learned that I will be helping teach about Plants and seeds, so I decided to make a post with some fun seed activities!
Here is a little video with some fun ideas – It says preschool but IT is easily ADAPTABLE TO K.
one of my favourite ideas presented to us in one of our classes Was to germinate seeds in zip lock bags and KEEP THEM IN THE WINDOW IN THE CLASSROOM:
And then you can have them keep a little seed journal with drawings of the progress. The above is a Bean sprout at day 7-8. These are particularly great for Kindergarten as they grow fast! And y9ou can see the progress and roots through the bag.
Another really cute idea is to plant grass in a clear cup.
